Following over a year of predominantly virtual meetings in the automation industry, the SPS – Smart Production Solutions will once again offer a face-to-face platform to facilitate the exchange of ideas in person. From 23 – 25 November 2021 in Nuremberg, the exhibition halls will once again buzz with trade talks and conversations. Get ready to exchange ideas with fellow-experts, consolidate relationships of trust and develop solutions together with around 750 exhibitors. In the “New Normal” environment, the protection of all participants continues to be top priority and the comprehensive protection and hygiene concept is adapted to the legal conditions.
The SPS is the platform for smart and digital automation. Here, highly qualified visitors and exhibitors meet at eye level; the focus is on practical and intelligent solutions for the challenges of today and tomorrow. In Nuremberg, exhibitors showcase their entire product range as well as their innovations in the halls on the exhibition grounds, which are arranged according to main topics.
Innovative start-ups and global key players, individual presences through theme-specific joint stands to special show areas can also be found at the SPS. This gives visitors a comprehensive overview of the market – from simple sensors to intelligent solutions, from what is feasible today to the vision of a comprehensively digitized industrial world.
For the first time this year, the SPS will be complemented by the digital platform “SPS on air“, making it a hybrid trade show highlight. By linking the digital and physical worlds, a holistic trade fair experience will be created, which is designed to offer all participants around the world the chance to participate. The extended runtime of the digital platform following the exhibition days will allow sufficient time to connect, interact and dive into content.
The top-class and hybrid lecture program brings together high profile speakers covering topics such as Digital Transformation / Industry 4.0, Industrial Communication, Safety and Security, New logistic methods and robot integration, Use Cases for AI, and many more. Most content will be made available on demand on the “SPS on air” platform.
One of the program highlights includes the keynote by Christian Baudis, digital entrepreneur, and former managing director of Google Germany. He will talk on the importance of data as a competitive advantage in the industry, and touch on the adjacent mega-topics of robotics, sensor technology and cyber security. Data and its aggregation (AI) are closely related to these megatrends.
Dr. Henning Beck, neuroscientist and bestselling author, will take an exciting look behind the scenes at the most flawed and innovative structure on earth: the brain. He shows what makes human thinking different from algorithms and how this can be used to develop real innovations.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the premiere of the hybrid SPS in Nuremberg and online!
