INIMCO INAUGURATES NEW SITE IN TEMSE

Technology company Inimco is moving to a new, larger facility in Temse. Inimco’s new home base provides room for growth and also allows the company to host on-site events for customers and prospects.

Due to its rapid growth, Inimco, founded in 2016, had outgrown its offices on the Frankrijkstraat in Temse. Accommodating all 30 employees in one office was not possible. That will succeed in the new, two-story building at 304 Hoogkamerstraat.

“We chose to stay in Temse,” says Inimco CEO Erik De Nert. “Not only do most of our employees live in the Waasland region, but many of the manufacturing companies in the nearby industrial zones are also potential customers for our solutions. Moreover, Temse is easily accessible via the E17 and N16 motorways for those coming from Antwerp, Ghent, Mechelen, or Brussels.”

Inimco helps manufacturing companies, machine builders and other industrial customers gain visibility into their machine and productivity data and improve their operational efficiency. It also offers data-driven services by leveraging the industrial IoT solution Inimco.facts, based on Microsoft Azure. Inimco’s expertise allows companies to move forward quickly without having to become an expert themselves.

Inimco’s new office will have a modern, Pinterest-worthy design with both industrial elements and warm touches through the use of natural materials such as wood and felt. “We want the office to be a place where our colleagues like to come and feel at home,” said De Nert. “There is a lounge area, there are lots of plants, there is an area with a pool table… To support our growth, we are currently recruiting mostly young people. We know that the Millennials and Generation Z attach a lot of importance to comfort and experience, and in the new building they will definitely come into their own in that respect.” By making working in the office attractive, Inimco also wants to foster collaboration among colleagues. This is why flex desks are being used. The fact that there are ordinary, height-adjustable sit/stand desks, as well as standing desks, affords extra comfort and room to move.

With several meeting rooms, a seminar room, and videoconferencing facilities, Inimco aims to strengthen its relationship with customers by offering them training, information sessions, and demos within the company’s walls. The spacious parking lot has four charging stations for electric cars for employees and customers.

“There is a lot of demand in the market for our solutions,” said De Nert. “We try to fill the need for additional employees mainly locally, by attracting people who prefer not to drive to Antwerp or Brussels during the rush hour.” In 2022, Inimco’s workforce grew by no less than 10 people. Six job vacancies are currently open, for front-end, back-end, and full-stack developers, data engineers, project managers, and architects, both freelance and permanent.
